Description
The contract is to renew our Recovery At Home (RAH) service. This succesful service provider should be an experienced home healthcareprovider.. By contracting this service the inpatient length of stay for the Trust/s will be reduced along with the overall spell length of stay for the services provided. It will achieve this by shortening the length of stay for given patients by offering homecare as an alternative to continued hospital stay for a number of days. The tender is split by 3 x Lots, covering University Hospital Southampton NHS FT (UHS), Portsmouth Hospital Trust (PHT) and Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT). Both UHS and PAH have an existing Recovery at Home Service, whilst HHFT aims to launch a new service as a result of this competition.
