Description
Public Health England (PHE) requires the provision of a single cell analysis/profiling system for use in its Health Protection radiation biodosimetry laboratories.
Due to the nature of the work, the equipment must be able to fulfil the following requirements:
- The proposed system must be able to capture 100's and 10,000's of single cells within a microwell cartridge with the capacity to be increased to 100,000+ cells.
- The proposed system must provide extensive quality control to accurately measure the number of single cells, number of doublets, and capture rate preventing sequencing of non-optimal libraries.
- The proposed system must be able to prepare sequencing libraries for analysis of gene expression of targeted gene panels in thousands of single cells simultaneously.
- The proposed system must allow detection of differential gene and protein expression simultaneously with and between individual cells.
- The proposed system must include sequencing libraries that contain dual indexes and must be compatible with Illumina sequencing technology.
- The proposed system must allow multiplexing of different samples in a single run.
- The proposed system must allow subsampling of constructed libraries, as well as archiving of material for further processing.
- The proposed system must provide analysis pipelines for rapid processing of sequencing data.
- PHE require one year's warranty.
- PHE require on-site training.
- PHE require bioinformatics support.
If you feel that you have a solution which can meet the requirements outlined above, please contact Anna Gibson anna.gibson@phe.gov.uk and Kallie Rivers kallie.rivers@phe.gov.uk with details of your proposed solution or to access the tender documents through: https://phe.bravosolution.co.uk by no later than 30th January 2018.
