Description

Historic England (HE) is the public body that helps people care for, enjoy and celebrate England's spectacular historic environment. The support we give to others in the sector is a core part of our work, and as such 'build/develop sector capacity and capability to make the most of the historic environment' is a key activity in our current corporate plan (download at https://historicengland.org.uk/images-books/publications/he-corp-plan-2021-22/he-corp-plan-2021-22/).
We are commissioning this piece of work to find out more about the effectiveness of our flagship project to support the heritage construction sector in the north of England, the Hamish Ogston Foundation Heritage Building Skills Programme, hereafter the 'HOF Programme'.
