Description
The Council wishes to engage a consultants with high level expertise in leisure services and asset management to help the council understand its strategic requirements for leisure, options available in the market to meet those needs and produce a specification to enable the Council to enter into a procurement exercise. Taunton Deane Borough Council currently owns five leisure sites operated by a Council set up Leisure Trust . The current contract is operated through an annual funding agreement and associated leases per site, due to expire in July 2019. Ahead of entering into a procurement exercise in the market for a leisure operator 2019 and beyond the Council wishes to fully scope and analyse all reasonable options for the future operation of its five leisure sites.
