Description

The University of Sheffield is out to tender on behalf of the Department of Estates and Facilities Management for a number of ultra low temperature freezers.

Scope of Requirement:

The University wishes to work in partnership with an innovative and sustainability-literate supplier for the supply and delivery of ULT units that includes:
• Supply of units over a period of approximately 24 months
• Delivery to point of use
• Removal of packaging and unwanted assets
• Ongoing availability of parts and spares
• Warranty

Initially the University will require 4 units with racking (these are described in the section titled Units required below). If a second round of funding is secured, a further 20 units would be required, however bidders should note the organisation's final requirements will be dependent on the availability of funding and cannot be guaranteed.
