Description
The London Borough of Bromley ("the Council") is inviting quotations for the provision of an Object Mount Maker for Biggin Hill Memorial Museum. The Council is in receipt of a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to build a new museum (the Biggin Hill Memorial Museum) at the site of St George's Chapel of Remembrance, Main Road, Biggin Hill, TN16 3EJ. This is a prestigious museum project at a place of great importance - Biggin Hill was the leading fighter station in the Battle of Britain and Churchill's 'strongest link'. The new museum will secure a sustainable future for the chapel and tell the story of the people and place of Biggin Hill during the World Wars, both 'The Few' and The Many.
