The London Borough of Bromley is seeking to commission a residential care provider able to deliver up to 5 children's home placements across multiple children's homes within their estate. The contract would be for one year with an option to extend for a further year. The first step of the procurement process is to engage with the market through this Expression of Interest.

This Expression of Interest will be open for a period of 2 weeks and will inform the Council's decision on whether to pursue this type of contract in the future. The Council will also use the outcome of the Expression of Interest to inform any potential future tender process that the Council may undertake in due course (anticipated to commence in April 2024).

For consideration of this project, we are seeking Expressions of Interest from providers that can satisfy the criteria below.

3 Providers should be able to accommodate young people for both short and longer term placements in line with their care plans
4 Additional support to be in place or can be accessed for young people with multiple / complex needs.
5 Providers will have some provision for young people subject to DOLS (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards)
6 Placements provided as part of this contact, must be located in a children's home which is registered and has a good / outstanding OFSTED rating.
7 The London Borough of Bromley has a maximum budget of £4,600 per placement and week. The provider must be able to work within this budget.
