Description
Cambridge City Council (CCC) are looking to instruct a consultant to assist them in the planning, procurement and management of a project to install Fast and Rapid Electric Vehicle Charging Points (EVCP's) throughout the city. The Council is seeking a professional and experienced consultancy business (The Consultant) to provide professional services for the following requirements: 1. Requirement 1 - Reviewing existing project information and city constraints so as to enable the following to be produced i. A delivery Strategy/ project proposal ii. A programme of works covering both the consultant and contractor delivery requirements iii. A preliminary design for the civil/ structural elements iv. A Cost Plan v. A Risk & mitigation Matrix b. 2. Requirement 2 - a. Provision of a technical specification & preliminaries b. Input into the Contractual requirements c. Drafting preparation & collation of all other tender document requirements in accordance with the councils standard templates d. Support the procurement process via the council's e-tendering system, specifically addressing any supplier questions Assist with the tender evaluation process 3. Requirement 3 - The provisions of the Contract administration and project management of the in accordance with the conditions of the contract ensuring careful monitoring of time, quality and cost risks The Consultant may be required to provide additional services relating to this project, not yet identified, against a schedule of rates, if requested by the Council.
