Description
Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of Right to Buy Valuations.
Birmingham Property Services is part of the Economy Directorate and is responsible for leading corporate decisions across the City Council. We provide professional property services to a wide range of customers including business tenants, landowners, developers and internal client directorates.
Our objective is to deliver 'right to buy' valuations on city council owned residential properties for the Place Directorate as governed by the Housing Act 1985 and subsequent amendments.
To enable the city to achieve its objective the successful supplier(s) will be required to fulfil the following:
• Provide a valuation of the city owned residential properties, with comparable evidence and red lined copies of plans.
• A minimum of 3 attempts must be made to visit the properties within the time frame below
• Provide valuations with plans within time frame of 16 working days from date of initial instruction
• Arrange bi-monthly meetings where valuations will be monitored against the KPI's
Tenderers are to note that this contract will be undertaken on a call off basis with orders placed as and when required.
This contract will be for a period of one year commencing Monday 17 September 2018 until Monday 16 September 2019, with the option of extending for a further one year subject to requirements and funding.
Award will be based on the evaluation criteria stated in the quotation pack.
