Description

Suppliers will be professional bat ecologists who will work closely with each of the three pilot churches to gather ecological and social information to help facilitate the planning of approaches to solve the conflict between bats and people

At each pilot church, the supplier will be expected to gain a full understanding of the issues being faced by the church communities, including the physical and social impacts caused by bats as well as a full understanding of how bats are using the building as roosts.
The Authority are inviting bids for one, two or all three locations named in the ITT. Tenderers will be required to respond to the appropriate tender invitation for the locations they wish to bid for and provide a quote for each location. Bids will be evaluated on the basis of most economical advantageous tender for each location separately, awarded as individual contracts for each location. It is possible that one supplier could be awarded more than one location.
Suppliers will carry out all necessary bat surveys and preparation to support a full site registration application under the Bats in Churches Class Licence. The application must be completed and submitted to Natural England by the end of the contract.
