Brief Description of Requirement

UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UK SBS), on behalf of UK Research and Innovation, wishes to establish a Contract for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Maintenance at the Science and Technology Facilities Council Estate in Warrington.

The following assets are encompassed within this contract and currently on site. A full asset list can be found in Appendix 4.

- Ductwork cleaning (non-kitchen)
- Extract fans

- Compressed Air Dryers
- Gas Detection (flammable)
- Hot Water Calorifier (LTHW)
- Flue
- Gas boiler (Atmospheric)
- Gas boiler (Condensing)
- Gas boiler (Combi)
- Pumps
- Gas solenoid valve
- Expansion Vessels
- Pressurisation Units (chilled / condenser / LTHW)
- BMS Systems
- Fume Cupbords

For each asset, there are three key components of the services:

1) Maintenance Service Delivery - Compliance Planned Preventative Maintenance (CPPM), Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Remedial works and reactive works;
2) Asset Management Service - Verification and tagging of assets where data is missing;
3) Minor Works - projects related to the assets up to the value of £50,000 where the Client will provide a specification

The services do not include the management of Fume Cupboards or specialist Local Extract Ventilation.
