Description

The University of Leicester is seeking fee proposals from suitably qualified and experienced multi-disciplinary design teams for delivering RIBA Stage 4-7 concerning the refurbishment and alternations required to create an outstanding Business Innovation Hub.

The University is seeking a Lead Consultant to deliver a Multidisciplinary team (to include Architect, Building Services Engineer, Civil and Structural Engineer, and Principal Designer as standard; Acoustic Engineers, and Fire Consultants if deemed necessary), together with a range of specialist property and construction professional, managerial and administrative functions, including the necessary administrative support and resources.
This procurement process is an openly advertised procedure, which is advertised on the University's electronic tendering portal (Delta E-Sourcing) and Contract Finder as required within the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
This appointment is subject to a European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) grant and is dependent on receiving funding.
To date; the project has already achieved RIBA Stage 3. This tender exercise is to meet the ERDF criteria for the appointment of Design Team going forward.
The drawings and cost report submitted to the DCLG, the ERDF Managing Authority as part of the funding bid will be made available to tendering consultants on request. Consultants must accept and sign the non-disclosure agreement, and send via Delta e-sourcing tool, to gain access to the drawings and cost report.
