Description

Tenders are invited for supply of services in respect of Markeaton Brook Desilting Works.
This project is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)

Works include:
• Removal of self-set trees from water course (as required).
• Removal of surface vegetation to walls and deposited silt.
• Carting of vegetable matter to an approved tip.
• Installation, and subsequent removal of a silt curtain to prevent the onward flow of disturbed silt.
• Excavate deposited silt from watercourse to form a clear flowing open channel as indicated on drawings.
• Ensure that remaining silt is suitably shaped to support normal brook flows.
• Removal of silt to a suitable tip.
• Clean and remove any loose detritus from site leaving.

Interested suppliers are required to attend a site visit held on - Monday 9th July - 10.00am And Wednesday 11th - 10.00am
Attendance confirmation must be made via the e-tendering system a minimum of 24 hours before the date of visit.

Please note, suppliers wishing to express interest and obtain the documentation, must do so by 14:00 on Thursday 2 August 2018. It is recommended that you express interest and obtain the documentation well before this time to allow sufficient time to prepare and submit a comprehensive response. The deadline for returns is 14:00 on (Friday 3 August 2018).
