Description

Urgent Treatment Centre for Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust - Denmark Hill

KCH is a large tertiary hospital and Foundation Trust providing services to south east London and Kent population of over 4 million people. We work across five hospital sites delivering local and specialist clinical services (this tender only applies to the Denmark Hill site).

KCH Denmark Hill is the Major Trauma Centre for SE London, Kent and Medway supported by our Helipad, a Cardiac Arrest Centre, Arrhythmia Centre and a Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit.

Our Paediatric Emergency Department has also undergone a recent renovation and is supported by a paediatric CDU. KCH is keen to develop an Urgent Treatment Centre provision that includes:

• 24/7 front door streaming for all walk-in patients
• 24/7 ENP and GP cover
• Delivery of Type 3 performance against the emergency care standard (consistently achieving in excess of 95%) or compliance with new NHSE/I standards currently out for consultation
• Working with primary care provision including NHS111 throughout SE London in order to compliment and improve same-day urgent care access as described in NHSE/I standards

KCH will conduct a virtual market engagement event with all interested parties being invited.
The bidding teams will present their proposed model for the UTC provision. Attendance to this event will be limited, and those who express an interest and have a proven track record of being able to deliver the above service will be given priority. If KCH wishes to proceed to tender stage all documentation from this event shall also be circulated within the tender documents.

If you wish to express an interest in this event please email Siobhan.clarke12@nhs.net providing your company details alongside a brief synopsis of your company and why you feel you would be best placed to attend the event.
