- Roads operated directly by National Highways.
- Roads operated on behalf of National Highways under DBFO arrangements.
A-roads in England operated by Local Highway Authorities (LHAs) .
The Trunk Road Network in Scotland (operated by Transport Scotland).
The Trunk Road Network in Wales (operated by the Welsh Government).
The road network operated by Rijkswaterstaat in the Netherlands.
