Description
NHS North East London Clinical Commissioning Group (NEL CCG) is seeking to commission Harmful Sexual Behaviour (HSB) Service.
The Taith project was commissioned by MOPAC in 2018 to support children and young people that were exhibiting Harmful Sexual Behaviour (HSB) and to reduce the impact of these behaviours on victims. The project was fully funded by MOPAC but supported by the boroughs in terms of delivery and referrals. This service will enable the provider to utilise the skills and expertise gained from delivering the Taith programme to effectively support children and young people exhibiting HSB in Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge. The service has demonstrated a need in the boroughs and will bring learning from the previous project.
Please refer to the service specification document for further information on the service.
In line with the Health and Care Bill it is envisaged that CCGs will be abolished and replaced by Integrated Care Boards (ICBs). Any reference to CCGs as Contracting Authorities in this procurement should be interpreted as referring to the ICBs that will take their place in due course.
The estimated total Value of the Contract is £360,000. The total value is based on an annual value of £120,000 per year. The Contract will be for an initial period of 2 years with the possibility of an extension for one year at the discretion of the CCG. The service is expected to commence in October 2022.
