Description

Come to our online workshop to find out how the Council buys services and how you can get your business in the best position to win contracts with us. We are looking to support more local SMEs to provide goods and services to the Council.
The training will be delivered by our award-winning trainer Andrea Childs, Managing Director of Klickbusinesssolutions. Andrea has 25 years' experience of winning new contracts by writing high scoring tenders for both the public and private sector. She specialises in providing professional tender writing training, imparting her years of tender writing and procurement experience to help clients successfully complete their own high scoring tender responses with very successful results.
The workshop will cover, but not limited to:
• Understanding and de-mystifying procurement jargon/common procurement terminology and understanding what it means
• Getting your business ready to tender, what policies/procedures, financial information, accreditations/common standards and information about your company you will need to ensure you are in the best position
• Bid or No Bid decisions, how to decide whether to submit a bid
• What is an SQ and tips to successfully complete an SQ
• What is an ITT and understanding common ITT documents i.e. Terms and Conditions, Certificate of Non-Collusion and understanding which documents have to be completed and which are for your information only
• What is a pricing schedule and what sort of things to consider when completing your pricing
• How to write high scoring method statements using a proven successful process
