Description

The Targeted Therapeutic Services Contract is to ensure that referred Young People that become Service Users receive personal support and therapeutic services to address their needs, support their reintegration into mainstream provision, enhance their life chances and prevent further social exclusion. Service Users are those who are not usually accessing mainstream provision and are regarded as the most vulnerable and disadvantaged. Therapy will be an evidence based programme of intervention and activities that address identified needs as assessed and agreed with Service Users and will result in a positive improvement to their mental health and emotional well-being. The service is to be provided in the Carlisle area - young people living elsewhere in Cumbria will be supported in negotiation with Cumbria County Council.
