Description

We are looking to appoint a contractor to design and fabricate specialist interactive museum exhibits for the permanent exhibition at a new City of Bath World Heritage Centre and new Clore Learning Centre for the Roman Baths.

The World Heritage Centre will contain a range of imaginative exhibits and displays that will explain why Bath is so special. These aim to spark peoples' curiosity in the World Heritage Site and will inspire people to go out and explore the wonderful range of historic sites in and around the city.

The Roman Baths Clore Learning Centre will contain accessible and state-of-the-art learning spaces and facilities for schoolchildren and learning groups. It will include an innovative Investigation Zone in which learners will be able to investigate and explore Roman remains in imaginative new ways.

These exciting new facilities will open in the heart of the City of Bath in 2021 and are being created as part of the Archway Project, which is funded primarily by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and National Lottery players.

The Archway Project is being delivered by the Heritage Services division of Bath and North East Somerset Council.
