Description

The Authority has a statutory responsibility to provide 6th day provision after a permanent exclusion and to ensure that children who are not coping in a mainstream setting and are at risk of permanent exclusion, are supported to access appropriate provision to reduce the risk of exclusion. We have also been supporting a number of children who are awaiting an EHCP assessment or have a plan and are waiting for assessments to begin or be placed in a specialist setting.
