Description

The site at Dover is a critical operational location to for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre Dover and the team who work from the location deliver the six coastguard missions. The site is also the location where the Maritime and Coastguard Agency delivers its mandated Vessel Traffic Services for the Dover straight and the Thames approaches and home to the Coastal Operations Base for Area 8 which is one of the busiest in the UK supported by 4 surveyors.
