Description
Derbyshire County Council are inviting tenders to
provide a linen hire service in the Adult Care
Department's residential establishments. The aim of
the service is to provide Derbyshire County Council in
house residential services with a high quality linen hire
service which ensures that effective systems are in
place to protect service users and staff from the risk of
acquiring healthcare associated infections. The key
objectives are to provide each establishments with a
variable number of sheets and pillow cases on a
weekly basis to meet the challenging needs of the
service. The linen supplied should be fit for purpose,
capable of being washed at sufficiently high
temperature to ensure disinfection takes place, should
look visibly clean, should be the right material and
should not be damaged or discoloured.
We are seeking a provider with extensive experience
and a proven track record in the provision of high
quality linen hire services in a residential setting.
