NOTE: This notice was updated on 06 December 2019 for the following reason: Project on hold - subject to review.(The overall objective for this project is to provide a suitable hard standing area which could be used as laydown areas / traffic overflow for the future capital project works planned for Thanckes.

Following the successful demolition of three above ground redundant fuel storage tanks, the works have exposed the old concrete tank bases. A visual inspection of the present concrete bases shows there is currently available a flat-surfaced hard standing area, which covers approximately 60 - 70% of the tank bund area for tanks 1 - 6 and they are in a good condition.)
