Description

Aston University produces a variety of printed material each year, including the University's two key prospectuses, course guides, student handbooks, various brochures, leaflets, posters, folders and magazines as well as an assortment of branded merchandise and banners. The University would like to invite tenders for the provision of an assortment of print and print-related services for a contract duration of three years. The framework will be spilt into lots; Lot 1 - Business cards and letterheads
To comprise a range of stationery including business cards with a finished standard size of 85x55mm and standard A4 portrait size letterheads. Compliment slips may be requested. Artwork for business stationery will be provided by Aston University.
Lot 2 - General print
To comprise a range of general print including leaflets (singe sided, double sided); Z-fold leaflets; newsletters, posters (A1, A3, A4); roll-up banners, exhibition materials, brochures (ranging from 4, 6, 8, 12 pages up to 40+).
Also presentation/conference folders and binding, collating and colour photocopying service may be requested.
Lot 3 - Prospectus and high value print
To comprise an annual undergraduate prospectus (published January) and some distribution is required to HE fairs, events and distribution centres (DJG). Details will be provided by Aston University.
A postgraduate prospectus may also be included, going forward.
Also included are large volume brochures.Some items may need specialist finishes to the cover ie the prospectus.
Please note: for all lots, print is not centralised and does not originate through the central marketing team. Print will be ordered from different departments, schools, research centres, support services and, central marketing. This means orders will have different cost codes, different cost centres and will use different budgets. Artwork for all print will be provided by Aston University's graphic designer and the design agencies on the framework.
