Description

Chamberhall Business Park is located to the North West of Bury Town Centre with Harvard Road, the main spine road serving the business park, linking directly to the A56, Peel Way. The A56 forms part of the Bury ring road which provides access to the main arterial rotes into the town and access to the M66 motorway at Junction 2 (approx. 1.7 miles) and onto the National Motorway Network.
Phase One of the development has been recently completed involving the development of high-quality light industrial floorspace. The scheme has provided over 120,000 square feet of floorspace across 14 units of various sizes and has proved to be very popular with businesses.
Additional development at Chamberhall includes high quality buildings for the Government Chemist (LGC), a GM Fire and Rescue Community Fire Station and the GM Police Bury Divisional Headquarters.
The Council is now seeking to select a developer for the remaining development land, known as Phase Two, in order to facilitate the construction of new high-quality employment floorspace.
