Description

Bowmans Harbour is a completed, closed landfill site which is subject to an Environmental Permit issued by the Environment Agency. The Council has a legal requirement to carry out environmental monitoring at the site in order to comply with the conditions of the Permit.
The works being procured consist of:
• environmental monitoring for ground gases, groundwater and leachate
• the servicing of the existing flare stack
• balancing of 55 gas collection wells
• provision of technical advice
• provision for vegetation clearance
• submission of leachate discharge data to Severn Trent
• provision of an Annual Report
