Description

Hertsmere Borough Council requires an experienced contractor to undertake a Homeless Review on its behalf.

To bid for the contract you should have the following:

o The ability to carry out homelessness and suitability reviews under Section 202 of the Housing Act 1996 (as amended by the localism Act 2011).
o Excellent knowledge of homelessness and related legislation including case law, current housing issues and current government policies relating to homelessness.
o Effectively communicate with the housing team particularly the Housing Operations manager and the Homelessness Prevention Officers
o Able to liaise with homeless applicants and their legal representatives as well as other agencies on a daily basis.
o To comply with Allocation and Homelessness Review Procedures as stated in regulations 1999 and meet target daily.
o Current or recent testimony about your homelessness Reviews carried out for other local authorities.
