Description

The new Vehicle Maintenance Framework will procure maintenance for 289 non-specialist vehicles (cars, vans and minibuses) across both the Council WSCC and FRS fleets. The remaining 196 specialist vehicles (fire appliances, library vans, accessible minibuses, motorbikes) will be maintained through the internal FRS workshops.

The requirements are set out in the Specification and broadly cover the following objectives:
• provision of the Planned and Reactive Vehicle Maintenance of vehicles in scope;
• obtaining optimum discounts from suppliers of relevant vehicle parts; and
• ensuring minimum downtime due to either Planned or Reactive Vehicle Maintenance.
