Description

IN ORDER TO FORMALLY EXPRESS AN INTEREST IN THIS PROJECT, PLEASE GO TO HTTPS://BBC.BRAVOSOLUTION.CO.UK (PLEASE FOLLOW STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS IN 'OTHER INFORMATION' BELOW.). BBC Insurance is responsible for managing insurance risk across the BBC and its subsidiaries. Its role in management of risk also contributes to the BBC's fulfilment of its statutory health and safety responsibilities and its duty of care to its employees. Many BBC personnel are required to drive as part of their duties, resulting in the BBC and its staff experiencing a considerable exposure to driving related risk. A driver risk assessment system is required to enable the measurement of these risks on an individual driver basis and across the BBC as a whole. A training function including both online and on-the-road training is required to address any identified shortcomings in individual employees' driving competence. A successful system will result in the improved ability of the BBC to manage its driving related risk and improved driver competence, resulting in fewer motor accidents and consequently improvements in employee safety and the BBC's claims experience & insurance terms.
