Description

The Partnership for Learning for All in Nigeria (PLANE) programme is a seven-year, GBP 95m programme funded by the UK Government's Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) and implemented by DAI Global UK.

PLANE represents one window of intervention in a broader package of investment intended to enable a more inclusive and effective basic education system in Nigeria. It seeks to do this through improvements in teaching and learning, focusing on foundational skills, unlocking governance bottlenecks for better education service delivery, improvements in the regulation of the non-state sector, and embedding the use of data and evidence within the education system.

For this specific requirement, PLANE is working in the South-West States of Kano, Kaduna and Jigawa and targeting 2,083 schools in these specified regions in Nigeria.

Crown Agents acting as agents for and on behalf of their Principal, DAI Global UK (DAI), invites credible, competent and experience registered legal entities to bid for the provision of Warehouse and Distribution Services as categorised below.

CATEGORY A (WAREHOUSE SERVICES)
LOT 1: Provide a warehouse solution in Abuja, Nigeria for the receipt and management of Pupils Books, Teachers Guides and Posters.

CAREGORY B (DISTRIBUTION SERVICES)
LOT 2: Provide a distribution service for collection of the Pupils books, Teachers Guides and Posters from the assigned warehouse in Abuja for delivery to approximately 2,083 no. schools in Local government areas (LGAs) in three specified States as split below into three separate lots:

• Lot 2 (a) is for distribution of books/posters to all schools in Kano State;
• Lot 2 (b) is for distribution of books/posters to all schools in Kaduna State;
• Lot 2 (c) is for distribution of books/posters to all schools in Jigawa States.

Crown Agents Limited now invites suitably qualified bidders to apply to receive the tender document in order to submit proposals for these services. This is an open competition under which bids are invited from any appropriately qualified organisation.

The full tender documents are available on request from mirabel.okafor@ng.crownagents.com.

When requesting for the 'Request for Proposal' document, please ensure that your email contains the tender reference number above in the subject line.

The closing date for submission of bids is 12th September 2022 at 12:00 hours UK time whilst potential providers have until Thursday 8th September at 5pm to register their interest in order to receive the resulting RPF document.

Crown Agents reserves the right to issue the RFP document to potential services providers that have not registered an interest under this advert.

Proposals will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures and evaluation criteria described in the tender. The successful bidder will be invited to sign a contract based on terms set out in the tender.
