Description
Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council is looking to appoint a Contractor to undertake the Design and Build of the redevelopment of the facilities provided at the Lawn Cemetery, Hatfield.
The development of a Cemetery and Crematorium Complex including:
o Funeral chapel with cloister garden
o Visitor waiting areas and reception
o Office administration areas
o Crematory
o Grounds maintenance workshop and mess yard
In addition to the Complex, the development is to also include:
o 76 space Carpark
o Memorial Hall
o Creation of memorial gardens including two ponds
o Re-develop some of the existing roadways and create hard standing bays for inline parking.
