Description
The requirement under this framework is for the appointment of a competent and capable contractor (maximum of 1 per lot) to undertake asbestos surveys and associated services ensuring compliance with all relevant industry requirements and safety standards. The successful contractor will be required to provide services as required in this document:
• Management Survey
• Management Survey with Refurbishment and Demolition Survey
• Sample Testing
The procurement will establish a framework with one supplier per each of two lots for asbestos survey support. There is no restriction on bidding for and winning lots, one contractor could win both lots.
There are two lots associated within this procurement opportunity.
Lot 1 - This lot is to provide various asbestos survey and associated services as detailed and as required periodically by the members of CHP:
Castles and Coasts Housing Association
Eden Housing Association
South Lakes Housing
Impact Housing Association
These are ad-hoc surveys to be called off as they are required during the term.
Lot 2 - This lot is for 2,655 Planned Management and Planned Management with Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys to be carried out in 2019 and 2020 at a time of the choosing of the contractor in accordance with the requirements of South Lakes Housing. No more than 50% of all properties are to be surveyed in 2019.
