Description
Founder's Day is a prestigious day in the calendar of the Royal Hospital when 300 In-Pensioners parade before a member of the Royal family, Members of Parliament, VVIP and other distinguished guests.
The Royal Hospital Chelsea requires catering support of food and bar services for approximately 2500 invited guests on Founder's Day; the main event takes place on the first Thursday of June each year. Locations for this service are the North Front (Governor's Marquee) and the South Terrace (food and bar outlets). There will also be a rehearsal of Founder's Day (Governors Review) which takes place two days prior to the main event, when post parade refreshments will be required in the North Front.
The service requires the contractor to have complete responsibility in all areas, from supply through to setting up, staffing, delivery, cash control and maintaining / clearing the site throughout event days.
