Description

Skills & Employment is a function within TfL's Diversity, Inclusion and Talent directorate and are responsible for the design and delivery of talent pipelines such as apprenticeships, graduate schemes, employability programmes and initiatives in line with the Mayor's Skills for Londoner's Strategy and aligned to government skills policies. The employability programmes provide work readiness skills and opens doors to employment to some of the most disadvantaged groups in society; helping them to become work ready through partnerships with charities, delivery partners and business stakeholders that enables them to develop employability skills and experiences. Additionally, individuals who fall into these groups have been disproportionately impacted by the current pandemic and now face even greater barriers to employment. The primary purpose of the employability programmes is to equip the learners with the relevant skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to attain sustained employment as part of a wider social value not necessarily for the benefit of TfL.
TfL is a seeking to establish a framework with 2 Lots of providers to deliver the programme.
Lot 1 - Ways into Work - those with no or limited work experience
Lot 2 - Routes back to work - for those with significant work experience but have been out of the workplace for a period of time
