Description

Loughborough Cemetery was created in 1857 with the oldest part of the cemetery being the Victorian Chapels. Management of the Cemetery falls under the responsibility of the Cleansing and Open Spaces division of the Neighbourhoods and Community Wellbeing Directorate.

It has been identified that the existing capacity is running low and the Council is exploring options to secure the future availability of this service.

Charnwood Borough Council is seeking to appoint experienced consultants to assess four potential sites with the view to extend the existing Loughborough cemetery.

The last date for request of documents is the 26th January 2017.
