Description

Tender for the Provision of Asbestos Removal and Remedial Works

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council (the Council) Neighbourhoods Directorate is responsible for the management, upkeep and repair of domestic properties owned by the Council. Tenders are invited for asbestos removal and remedial works to properties within the Borough of Sandwell. The work is unscheduled and of a jobbing nature as the presence of asbestos cannot be determined until the repair is allocated.

There are approximately 29,000 domestic properties covered by this contract. Municipal housing varies in age from thirty (30) to one hundred and fifty (150) years old, is of traditional and system built construction, and is of low, medium and high rise.
