Quality is at the very heart of our parks and we require the incoming catering providers to match and complement our high standards.
Southwark Council is offering experienced and dynamic catering companies the opportunity to apply for the concessions contracts. We have seven contracts to be let, as follows:
Site Minimum rent offer
LOT 1 Dulwich Park Café £60k per annum
LOT 2 Peckham Rye Park Café £40k per annum
LOT 3 Burgess Park Café £30k per annum
LOT 4 Southwark Park Café £10k per annum
LOT 5 Geraldine Mary Harmsworth Park Café £50k per annum
LOT 6 Camberwell Lodge £5k per annum
LOT 7 Ice cream concessions contract £50k per annum
Each contract has a minimum rental value and companies will be asked, if selected to tender, to bid in excess of the minimum. Any bids below the minimum will be not be considered. Bidders will need to ensure that they that have the financial resources available when tendering.
Southwark Council has made a commitment to the London Living Wage and therefore the terms of this commitment will also apply to these contracts. Southwark Council believes that Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE) will apply to these contracts.
