A Supplier Briefing Event will be held at 11:00am on the morning of Monday 26th April 2021, given the current position in respect of the pandemic, the Supplier Briefing Event will be held as an online session delivered via Microsoft Teams. Please see the Invitation to Tender document (section 2.3) for further information.(The provision of a turn-key solution to design, build, and fit-out the desired experience at the Volunteer Selection Centre for Birmingham 2022.

The project relates to the design, build and fit-out of the Library of Birmingham ("the Site") to serve as the Volunteer Selection Centre which is to be operational from September 2021 to February 2022. As Birmingham 2022 (B2022) are intending to occupy the Site for a period of approximately 6-months, the requirement is for the successful Contractor to design, build and fit-out and deliver a functional, vibrant, engaging and exciting space, which is compliant with the functional brief outlined within the Scope of Works.

The space should be cost efficient, both in terms of the proposed fit-out works and in relation to the activities to return the site back to its original state, at the end of the hire period, and upon closure of the Volunteer Selection Centre.

The OC requires an experienced Contractor to deliver the Scope of Works. The timelines for the programme are critical.The budget range for the Scope of Work is estimated as £125k - £175k.)
