Description

The University of Sheffield (TUoS) is looking for a provider to carry out the responsibilities of the Named Veterinary Surgeon as laid down in the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986 (ASPA 1986) and in accordance with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Code of Practice for Named Veterinary Surgeons, including the provision of expert veterinary knowledge and advice on the use, husbandry and welfare of animals.
This includes provision of veterinary advice and services as required (which may be over 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year) on site at the University of Sheffield as necessary.
Also to carry out weekly site visits as required and typically every week up to 12 hours.
