Description
Birmingham City Council currently have an existing Cisco Network, consisting of Catalyst and Nexus equipment, providing interconnectivity between its core sites, 3 Datacentres and over 250 remote sites. We are looking for a Cisco support partner to assist us in supporting the existing infrastructure and then to act as a trusted advisor on the future development of the estate.
This contract will be for a period of 1 year, commencing 01/04/2021 until 31/03/2022. This contract will not be automatically renewed on an annual basis, performance of the provider to meet agreed SLA's and KPI's will be rigorously monitored throughout the 12-month term.
Service Level required:
o Provide initial response by a qualified engineer within 1 hour of request logged
o Supply of replacement spares within 4 hours, 24x7 including public holidays.
o If spares are not required, the supplier to provide suggested resolution within 4 hours for service impacting requests or 2 working days for non-service impaction requests.
o In the event of any failures that do not meet the SLA, the agreement should specify how Birmingham City Council will be compensated (Supplier to confirm methods of compensation available should SLA's not be adhered too). This may include rebates, service credits, discounts or other forms recompense)
o Part and/or engineer to site within the specified SLA - Supplier to confirm that all replacement equipment shall be delivered to the contracted location within the specified SLA of a fault requiring hardware replacement being logged, accompanied by a suitably qualified engineer if requested. Supplier to confirm if spares can be delivered with the specifically requested software version, and customer supplied configurations if requested to do so.
