Description
The scope of the contract is to design, manufacture, deliver, install and commission two 500 MHz solid state RF amplifiers subject to the performance specification detailed in this document. The amplifiers shall be capable of delivering 60 kW and 80 kW in continuous wave, pulsed from zero to maximum at arbitrary duty cycle and slowly amplitude modulated. The two amplifiers should be identical as far as possible, differing only in the number of modules installed to generate the different power levels.
