Description

Please note this opportunity is only available to suppliers that have Home Office Approved Speed Safety Systems.

The objective of this project is to replace existing wet film safety camera technology with a digital average speed enforcement system, in order to enforce the speed limit on the C233 Charlton Road and A24 Ewell Bypass. These sites has been determined by the Drive Smart Partnership (Surrey County Council Road Safety & Active Travel Team and Surrey Police) as a high priority for upgrade, particularly following a recent collision that resulted in a fatality at the Charlton Road site. The cameras will be serviced and calibrated as part of a "pay as you go" contract that falls outside of this procurement exercise.
