Description

Haigh New Culvert is located underneath A637. The culvert comprises twin corrugated steel circular sections with a concrete invert taken up the sides. There are reinforced concrete headwalls and wing walls at both ends of the structure.

The South West side apron has been partially washed away and undermined and the west invert is suffering from scour. The North East side apron is cracked and displaced due to a tree stump behind. The successful contractor is required to repair and replace the damaged/missing sloping side aprons and install scour protection to the West in the form of concrete bagwork and a reno matress.
