Description

NHS England and Improvement South West are seeking a partner through which to develop a regional approach to attracting and growing talent for innovation and improvement across the region. We have a project budget of £120k excluding VAT / £150,000 including VAT.
We are seeking a partnership that will create a pool of talented innovators and entrepreneurs with the ability to resolve high profile problems across health and social care.
The successful organisation will have a track record of working with government agencies. They will be able to demonstrate experience in working with senior health and care leaders to coach improvement leadership skills and to shape and select problem areas.
They will have a track record in creating syllabus and coaching in "lean start up" methods.
They will also be able to evidence a track record of working with universities to create faculty capable of successfully coaching and mentoring postgraduates in application of this methodology.
The chosen approach will create a talent pool within the South West to sustain long term innovation for our communities.
Our required output would look like:
• A minimum of 30 students have completed a Lean start programme by 31st December 2022 and can evidence completion of all programme elements. 75% of the group recommend / highly recommend the programme.
• Please provide evidence of how the programme will ensure the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion will be applied to the recruitment of students.
• CPD should be recognised by the Royal Colleges of Nursing and Physicians and have multi-professional applicability for clinical and non-clinical staff
• Please detail the approach to ensuring that a minimum of 10 skilled sponsors (i.e. one per chosen problem area) will be supported to effectively discharge their role. An outline of the leadership support programme including a minimum offer (this should include an offer of at least 1 hour per week of specialist mentoring and coaching)
• Solutions developed and protypes tested for 10 high profile problem areas by December 31st, 2022
• An after-action review meeting will be held. This will be a face-to-face panel meeting, no less than 4 weeks after tasks have been completed. The project will not be considered complete until this meeting has been held
