Description

Braintree District Council is looking for a Consultant to carry out an options appraisal for the George Yard Shopping Centre, in Braintree Town Centre, a scoping exercise was completed followed an evaluation and this piece of work is to follow on from these.
We are looking for the following options to be worked -
•To not purchase the site
•To purchase the site and leave as is
•To purchase the site and redevelop Quadrant building
•One or two further options that we have not considered
A focus on increasing footfall without reliance on retail is preferred
