Description

Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of Local Emergency Veterinary Services for zoo animals at Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park.

This contract will be for a period of 1 year commencing 15 04 2019 until 14 04 2020 with the option to extend for a further 12 months depending on previous performance including the ability of the provider to deliver all orders on time.

Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park requires a vet who will be able to provide local emergency veterinary provision 7 days a week. Please note that this is separate to our regular zoo veterinary provider who carries out monthly visits.

The supplier must be a fully licenced veterinary surgery.

The supplier must have demonstrable experience treating a range of exotic / zoo animals, ideally including, but not limited to:

o Primates
o Reptiles
o Amphibians
o Large rodents
o Hoofstock
o Birds
o Other Exotic Mammals
