Description
The BBC is tendering for the provision of courier services. The BBC requires a Managed Service Provider for courier services, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days per year via their own network and third party providers for delivery of packages, goods and equipment of varying dimensions and weights. Although the majority of movements are standard deliveries, there is a requirement for specialist and time sensitive movements such as programme rushes that are time sensitive and broadcast equipment i.e., lighting and cameras.
Three main services are required: same day National courier services, next day / overnight courier services and international courier services. Services must be bookable via an online booking tool access via BBC single sign on, supported by offline support.
The estimated contract value is up to £1m per annum. The estimated total contract value of £7m is based on the BBC utilising the full contract term available of seven (7) years.
