Description
The ITT for Insurance Brokerage Service has been issued by ORE Catapult, as collaboration lead on behalf of the Catapult programme and their Trading Subsidiaries (https://www.catapult.org.uk/). The Insurance Brokerage Service has been divided into 2 Lots to cover the requirements of the Catapult centres. Submissions will be accepted for any one or combination of Lots ie Lot 1 for ORE Catapult (or their trading subsidiary) only and Lot 2 for other Catapult Centres (or their trading subsidiaries) listed in Section 1 of the ITT, or any new Catapult centre created during the term of the framework. Each Catapult (or trading subsidiary) is a legal entity in its own right and therefore individually responsible for any liabilities as a consequence of any Call Off Agreement.
Lot 1: ORE Catapult only.
The Broker shall be required to provide all of the Service requirements listed below.
Core brokerage services;
Risk management;
Claims handling;
Insurance administration;
Other support services
Further details of the requirement is provided within the ITT document at Appendix B.
Lot 2: All other Catapult Centres (Buying Authorities).
Each of the Buying Authorities may have requirements for the provision of any or all of the Services as described in the ITT document at Appendix B. Three suitably capable Brokers will be appointed to Lot 2. However, the Authority reserves the right to appoint fewer or more than this number if deemed to be in the best interests of the Buying Authorities, e.g. specific specialist knowledge areas. As each of the Catapult centres will have a different range of requirements, the Broker may need to vary the service provision according to the Buying Authority's needs either by variation to the original service or by taking on new services whatever they may be, provided they are "reasonable" and fall within the overall scope of what the Broker would reasonably be expected to deliver under the terms of this Lot 2 Framework Agreement. The Buying Authority will confirm at Call-Off stage which of the Services they require.
NB: some of the work carried out by the Catapult centres may be financed by EU funds.
