Other additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
This procurement is sourcing suitable contractor for service and maintenance for all Clarion passenger lifts and communal platforms nationwide. This will consist of a planned programme of inspections and responsive repairs for passenger lifts. In total Clarion has 692 passenger lifts and 22 communal platforms. The contract is split into two lots by geographic areas. The aim is to appoint a maximum of two suppliers, each specialising in a particular geographical lot, but also with the possible scope to provide standby coverage in other areas if required.
