Description

The Works comprise the design and construction of new homes, conversion of an existing office building into elderly persons flats and a small office and upgrading works to the adjacent elderly persons flats (10nr), together with associated hard and soft landscaping works, including all soft landscaping and maintenance as required by the Local Authority, together with all other necessary infrastructure works as described in these Employer's Requirements or evident from the tender drawings. Where necessary the Works will also include offsite hard and soft landscaping, and infrastructure works.

The dwellings to be provided are as follows:

o New build houses and apartments - 44 nr (mix of rent and shared ownership)
o Conversion to create new apartments - 13 nr
o Conversion to create office - 1 nr
o Works to existing apartments - 10 nr

The Contract will be completed in Sections under the JCT Design and Build Contract, including Employer Amendments.
